BACKGROUND OF THE SIG SAUER PSP2022
The Sig Sauer SP2022, or Sig Pro, represents an entire product line. These pistols were among Sig's first polymer-frame handguns and were also the first to feature universal accessory rails. The weapons also have interchangeable grips. Available in multiple calibers (.40 S&W, 9x19, .357 SIG), the Sig Pro line has been whittled down over the years until only the SIg Sauer SP2022 remains. These are light, relatively compact automatics introduced to the market in 1999.
